I’ve been chipping away the past few weeks getting my head around the basics of AR Kit in Unity and how to use the new LiDAR meshing on the new Apple Pro devices.
This demo was created using the new 2020 version of Unity, preview packages, the URP (Universal Render Pipeline) with both Shader Graph and VFX Graph as well. I must say the new visual scripting “Graph” interface is a blast to use, I’ve barely scratched the surface of the functionality but in a few hours I am happy with the results.
This is me just getting my head around the base technology in my spare time. I’m keen to push the concept further, maybe to a full product on the App Store sometime soon… depending on what other work pops up.
