On Sunday 2 August we, along with our neighbours went to Lee point to have diner on the beach. The kids had a great afternoon playing on the sand and in the water.

Towards the end of the day William got tired and grizzly, this saw him hiding under his towel while constantly complaining!

We also got some good photos of the sun setting, this is a daily occurrence during the dry season in Darwin.

Trying to enjoy Ethan as an infant for as long as possible, the influence William and Xavier has on him has snuck up on me.  This is all his own doing, purely just copying what the boys did the previous day.  I put it on him, but he bought it to me to put on him.  He’s a funny little fella. 

On the last week of term 2 Wanguri Primary School has its annual Twilight Athletics Carnival in which the preschool participates in the track events after their own fun and games.  It was all about fun.  Most kids  were laughing too much to be competitive.

You don’t realise how much the kids grow until you compare photos.  Unfortunately, William scratched his face on a branch the day before.

Williams Pre-School had an excursion to Crocosaurus Cove, this is in the centre of Darwin. The cove also has the cage of death where you can get in a glass cage and be lowered into the water with the Crocodiles. By all accounts Will and his class mates had a wonderful day.

Yesterday Caz got a new Camera the Canon EOS 450D for an Early birthday Present. 

She has gone mad taking photo’s.

Xavier has reached a new level. He is now 3.  We celebrated with a bunch kids and way too much sugar.  A good time was had by all. 

Four wheels seemed to be the theme of the day, Xavier’s new Tonka tow truck has been played with constantly.  Hover over the photos for more information.

Mid Tuesday afternoon, it was on.  The Hulk against the almighty Xavier Jones.

There was shoving, jumping, pushing and maybe a little air punching.  Who would come out on on top????

It was a close match, but Xavier was victorious, this time. 

If the house is quiet, a little too quiet, I tend to look for Ethan, to see what he is doing, down the adult end of the house.  This is a no toys zone.  This is what I would find.  We have since purchased a proper cabinet that is higher than the coffee table.  Now he pulls the movies out of the cabinet and turns off the computer, usually when I’m on it.  Roll on to the next stage I say through gritted teeth.
